The EU Chemicals Regulation

What is REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of Chemicals)

The reform of chemicals legislation in the European Union was intended to create a standardized set of regulations for all EU member states. On June 1, 2007, the Chemicals Regulation REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) came into effect.

OREN supports the aim of the REACH Regulation of improving the protection of health and the environment in the handling of chemicals and consistently implements the Regulation. Under the Regulation, all substances produced, imported or placed on the market in the EU in quantities of over 1 metric ton per year must be registered. While new substances have to be registered immediately using a detailed procedure, transition periods have been set for phase-in substances (mainly existing chemicals), providing they were pre- registered by December 1, 2008.

OREN has appointed CHEMSAFE SRL, ITALY as ONLY REPRESENTATIVE (OR) for registering OREN products in REACH.

To date, Oren has registered the below products.
